Accesibility
The Chair of Industrial Information Technology strives to make its websites fully accessible for all users. The University is required to provide a declaration on digital accessibility by the law on accessible information and communication technology for Berlin (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are determined by BITV 2.0.
This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the web page
www.digitalcubetestcenter.de
.
When and by whom was this accessibility statement prepared? When was this declaration last reviewed?
This declaration was prepared on April 29, 2020.
The statements in this declaration were last reviewed on 27 February 2026.
The technical review of accessibility was carried out by a self-assessment, i.e. by the web team of Technische Universität Berlin.
How accessible is the website?
This website is partially accessible, i.e. not all the requirements of BITV 2.0 are met.
Despite ongoing training on web accessibility, editorial errors are therefore unavoidable. However, we are continuously working on improving the website and making the content and services accessible.
The areas listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:
-
Alternative information is not available in all embedded videos, i.e. complete audio descriptions, full text alternatives or subtitles.
-
Alternative texts for images, operating elements and layout graphics are missing in places.
These will be subsequently implemented.
-
There may be errors in the structure (missing or incorrect heading hierarchies) or links may be incomprehensible.
We are endeavoring to eliminate these errors permanently. Unfortunately, due to the large number of editors who maintain the various website subsections of TU Berlin, this cannot be guaranteed to be completely error-free.
-
PDF documents are not accessible without barriers.
We endeavor to present PDF files on the website only in exceptional cases. Training courses on creating accessible PDFs are available to all editors, so that we can expect an increase in skills and that more PDFs can be made accessible in the future.
Who can I contact if I have any comments on digital accessibility?
